Beverly B. Palmer Ph.D. has spent 30 years as a clinical psychologist helping couples resolve issues and create greater intimacy at all stages of their relationship. Known as the “Love Life Prof,” she has been a psychology professor at California State University, Dominguez Hills, for over 40 years where she has taught undergraduate and graduate psychology classes. Equally important, Dr. Palmer recently celebrated her 50th anniversary with her husband.
Now she’s sharing her expertise on making love last, some of which is in her new book, Love Demystified: Strategies for a Successful Love Life. She will show how evidence-based research can give you a deeper understanding of how to create the relationship you’ve always wanted.

The American Psychological Association lists her as the scientific expert on interpersonal attraction and relationships for journalists to consult.
She has contributed to dozens of magazine, newspaper and internet articles, including Allure, USA Today Magazine, aolhealth.com, msn.com, The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, and, most recently, USA Today. Two of her most cited publications is “Love” in Magill’s Survey of Social Science (1993) and “Interpersonal Attraction” for Psychology & Behavioral Health (2015).
